FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How much does it cost?

The cost of a trip is somewhat affected by the size of the group, length of stay, flight prices at the time of booking & the NZD/USD exchange rate.  However, for a group of around 16-20 students staying 13 nights in Cambodia, the cost per student will normally be in the range of NZD $5,500 - $6,500 plus gst for an all inclusive package.  At this rate, 2 school staff travel free.

Q. Is there a minimum & maximum group size?

The smallest school group we've hosted was 10 students and the largest was 22.  We don't typically set limits but to keep things affordable, your group size would likely need to be upwards of 10 students.  Most groups are in the vicinity of 16-20 students.

Q. What is healthcare in Cambodia like?

Healthcare in Cambodia has greatly improved over the past decade.  In Phnom Penh & Siem Reap, there are quality international clinics and hospitals offering excellent healthcare.  Given our decades long experience in Cambdia, we have an excellent knowledge of the healthcare system and where to and where not to go should treatment be required.

Q. What is included?

In short.  Pretty much everything!  Our rates include the following:

1. Return flights ex New Zealand to Cambodia

2. Comprehensive travel insurance

3. Airport transfers in Cambodia

4. Accomodation, all meals incuding refreshments & transport within Cambodia

5. Bottled water available at all times

6. All activities as per the itinerary

Q. Is the intinerary flexible?

Yes. The itinerary is flexible.  This means that if your school is already connected with certain people or organisations in Cambodia, then we'll include visits within the itinerary.  You'll also get to choose the overall length of the trip (suggested no shorter than 10 days on the ground plus 2 days travel) and what you'd like to focus on.  Some schools focus on service or mission, some history, some tourism & some a bit of everything.  It's all up to you!

Q. What should we bring?

Upon comfirmation of your trip, we will issue you with a comprehensive information document outlining amongst other things, all you'll need to bring in order to make your school trip a success.

Q. What is not included?

Not much to be honest!  You'll need to bring spending money for personal items, market shopping, additional snacks outside of mealtimes, any spending whilst in airport transit & a small amount for laundry services ($3 per load).  That's it.
